About Everest Three Pass Trek
Everest Three Pass Trek Overview
The Everest Three Pass Trek is one of Nepal’s most adventurous and challenging Himalayan journeys, offering the ultimate trekking experience in the Everest region. Designed for experienced trekkers seeking high-altitude adventure, this trek combines the legendary Everest Base Camp route with the crossing of three spectacular Himalayan passes: Kongma La Pass, Cho La Pass, and Renjo La Pass.
This extraordinary journey takes trekkers deep into the heart of the Khumbu region through remote valleys, ancient Sherpa villages, glacial landscapes, turquoise lakes, high mountain passes, and breathtaking panoramic viewpoints. The Everest Three Pass Trek is considered one of the most complete Himalayan trekking experiences, combining adventure, culture, wilderness, and world-class mountain scenery into a single unforgettable expedition.
The adventure begins with a scenic mountain flight to Lukla before trekking through traditional Sherpa settlements such as Namche Bazaar, Tengboche, Dingboche, Chhukung, Lobuche, Gokyo, and Thame. Along the route, ancient monasteries, prayer flags, mani walls, suspension bridges, and warm Sherpa hospitality create a powerful connection to the spiritual culture of the Himalayas.
The greatest highlights of the trek are the crossings of Kongma La Pass (5,535m), Cho La Pass (5,420m), and Renjo La Pass (5,360m). Each pass offers breathtaking panoramic views of Mount Everest, Lhotse, Makalu, Cho Oyu, Ama Dablam, Nuptse, Pumori, and countless surrounding Himalayan peaks. The dramatic glacier crossings, rugged alpine landscapes, and remote mountain trails make this trek both physically demanding and deeply rewarding.
The trek also includes the iconic Everest Base Camp at 5,364 meters and the sunrise viewpoint of Kala Patthar at 5,545 meters, where trekkers witness one of the most spectacular mountain panoramas in the world.
At Adventure Pathway, the Everest Three Pass Trek is carefully designed with proper acclimatization, safety planning, experienced guidance, and meaningful cultural experiences. Our goal is to provide trekkers with a safe, adventurous, and unforgettable Himalayan expedition through the most spectacular landscapes of the Everest region.
