Arrive at Tribhuvan International Airport in Kathmandu and transfer to your expedition hotel. Meet the Adventure Pathway expedition leader and climbing team for a comprehensive briefing covering the Himlung Himal expedition route, acclimatization strategy, permit formalities, high camp logistics, technical climbing sections, weather conditions, and overall expedition preparation.
A full day dedicated to gear organization, climbing equipment inspection, permit collection, food and logistics preparation, and final expedition coordination. Team members can complete any last-minute shopping for mountaineering supplies and personal climbing equipment in Kathmandu.
Begin the journey toward the remote Nar Phu Valley with a scenic drive through river valleys, terraced farmland, traditional villages, and rolling hills before arriving at Besisahar.
Continue driving deeper into the Annapurna region along rugged mountain roads beside waterfalls, pine forests, and dramatic Himalayan landscapes before reaching the village of Koto.
Leave the main Annapurna Circuit trail and enter the restricted Nar Phu Valley region. Trek through narrow canyons, pine forests, suspension bridges, and remote landscapes toward Meta village.
