Arrive at Tribhuvan International Airport in Kathmandu and transfer to your hotel. Meet the Adventure Pathway expedition team for a complete briefing covering the Ama Dablam climbing itinerary, acclimatization schedule, permit formalities, technical climbing sections, equipment preparation, and overall expedition logistics.
A full preparation day dedicated to checking climbing equipment, organizing personal and group gear, completing permit procedures, and conducting detailed expedition briefings. Final shopping for mountaineering supplies can also be completed in Kathmandu before departure to the Khumbu region.
Take a scenic mountain flight to Lukla before beginning the trek through beautiful Sherpa villages, pine forests, suspension bridges, and riverside trails along the Dudh Koshi River toward Phakding.
Cross several suspension bridges and gradually ascend through forests and mountain villages to reach Namche Bazaar, the bustling Sherpa capital of the Everest region. Along the route, enjoy the first clear views of Ama Dablam and surrounding Himalayan peaks.
An important acclimatization day allowing the body to adapt to increasing altitude. Optional hikes to Everest View Hotel or nearby ridges provide stunning panoramic views of Everest, Lhotse, Ama Dablam, and other Himalayan giants.
